I really like this website. It is simple and easy to use. I really liked the information about special tickets. I often see people use different tickets, but don’t know the price or benefits, because the information is always in Japanese. Thank you for providing me with some very useful information.

    Hi

    need your clarify.

Under Kyoto City Bus, it stated the below :
This is what a Kyoto City Bus(“Shi-bus”) looks like.↑

This bus system covers the whole Kyoto City(). In Kyoto City, there are basically 5 areas for sightseeing.
These are: Arashiyama Area, Kinkakuj Area, Okazak Area, Ginkakuji Area and Higashiyama Area.

then on Special Tickets and Prepaid Cards, it stated :
    1. 1-day bus only ¥500 (Under12 ¥250)
You can ride bus as many times as you want for 1 day within the city limits, but doesn’t include the Arashiyama area.
( It’s available ONLY Kyoto-city Bus, not Kyoto Bus Co. or others. )

My question is does it actually cover Arashiyama area?\
